Delirium Assessment Measures

  • Confusion Assessment Method (CAM)
    Purpose: To detect delirium with or without dementia using yes/no answers.
    Admin time:  5 min
    User Friendly:  High
    Administered by: Clinician
    Most Appropriate: Acute and Residential Care. For use in older people, who are at risk for the development of delirium (e.g. older medical and surgical in-patients) with or without dementia.
